Countdown
Winners to be announced here on 2 November 2026
Every winner is also emailed a link to this page.
How it works
Buy one of our filtration systems on our website any time in October.
Each paid order with a filtration system is automatically 1 entry. No forms.
10 winning orders are drawn at random once October closes.
Winners are emailed a link and listed on this page on 2 November.
The prize
10 lucky winners will each receive a free replacement filter set for a filtration system they bought. For example, a SUPERPURE 5-Stage Under Counter system or an RO system wins its pre-filter set. If you bought more than one system, you win one replacement filter set and you choose which system it is for. Membranes are not included in the replacement filter set that can be won. Floor standing dispensers do not qualify for the competition as they do not use filters. Delivered free anywhere in South Africa.

Official competition rules
Who runs the competition
The “October Spring Giveaway” (the Competition) is run by Definitive Water CC t/a The Water Filter Factory on thewaterfilterfactory.co.za. By entering, you accept these rules.
Who can enter
The Competition is open to people aged 18 or older who live in South Africa. Employees of Definitive Water CC t/a The Water Filter Factory and their immediate families, and anyone directly involved in running the Competition, may not enter.
Competition period
The Competition opens at 00:00 on 1 October 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 31 October 2026 (South African time). Orders placed outside this period do not count.
How to enter
Buy at least one of our filtration systems on thewaterfilterfactory.co.za during the Competition period and pay for it in full. Each qualifying order (see rule 5) is one entry, no matter how many filtration systems are in the order. Placing more than one qualifying order gives you more than one entry. There is no separate form to fill in.
What counts as a qualifying order
A qualifying order is a completed, paid order that includes at least one filtration system from our Home & Office Filter Systems categories: whole house systems, under counter systems, reverse osmosis (RO) systems, countertop filters (including mineral pot water dispensers with filters), tap-mounted filters and shower filters. Floor standing dispensers do not count as filtration systems for the Competition, because they do not use filters, so an order that only contains a floor standing dispenser is not a qualifying order. Orders that only contain spare filters, membranes, parts, accessories or any other products that are not in the categories above do not count either. Orders that are cancelled, refunded, returned in full, or found to be fraudulent or made in error are not valid entries. Quote requests are not entries unless they are turned into a qualifying paid order within the Competition period.
The prize
There are 10 prizes. Each prize is one replacement filter set for a filtration system on the winning order. For example, if the winning order includes a SUPERPURE 5-Stage Under Counter system or a reverse osmosis (RO) system, the prize is the pre-filter set for that system. If the winning order includes more than one filtration system, the winner wins one replacement filter set only, and the winner may choose which of those systems the set is for. Membranes are not included in the replacement filter set that can be won. A prize cannot be exchanged for cash or another item, and cannot be transferred. If a prize is unavailable, Definitive Water CC t/a The Water Filter Factory may replace it with a prize of equal or greater value.
How winners are chosen
After the Competition closes, 10 winning orders will be drawn at random from all valid entries. Each person can win only one prize. If the same person is drawn more than once, an extra random draw will be made. The result of the draw is final.
Announcement and notification
Winners will be announced on the competition page on 2 November 2026. Each winner will also be notified by email at the address used for the winning order. The email will contain a link to this page so you can see whether you have won. Please make sure your email address is correct when you order, and check your spam folder.
Claiming your prize
Winners must reply to the notification email within 7 days to claim their prize, and tell us which filtration system they would like the replacement filter set for if their order included more than one. If we have not heard from you by then, or we cannot reach you, the prize is forfeited and a new winner will be drawn. Prizes are delivered free of charge within South Africa.

By entering, you agree that if you win, we may publish your first name, the first letter of your surname and your order number on the competition page. We will not publish your email address, phone number or address.
