1. Turn off power and water supply before replacing O-ring
2. Remove quartz sleeve carefully and inspect for cracks or residue
3. Clean the groove area and apply food-grade silicone grease to the new O-ring
4. Slide O-ring evenly into position on both sleeve ends
5. Reassemble carefully and test for leaks before restarting the UV unit
6. Replace every 6–12 months or when showing signs of wear
